The Orchestra is led by one of its preferred guest conductors, the rising international star Vladimir Jurowski, in his debut recording of the piece. It is Jurowski’s first released recording with this orchestra -- a notable occasion for Philadelphia Orchestra followers.
For fans as well as casual listeners, this will surely be a must-have. Apart from the inspired interpretation and immaculate sound of the ensemble, it is documentation of the unfolding of a synergistic connection between conductor and ensemble.

Music from the Inside Out, the acclaimed documentary by Academy-Award nominated filmmaker Daniel Anker, has been re-released digitally this week by Cinedigm, and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, XBox, Playstation, and Google / Youtube. The film was featured at festivals throughout the world, and opened theatrically in 2005 to critical raves, running for four months in the Philadelphia area, followed by a two-month run at the Cinema Village in New York, with releases in 40 other cities in the U.S. and Japan. The film was nominated for the International Documentary Association’s Distinguished Feature Award, and received a "Parent’s Choice" Silver Award.
Filmed over a period of five years on three continents, Music from the Inside Out is the result of a collaboration between the filmmaker and the musicians of The Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the world's preeminent musical ensembles. It is the Orchestra's first film appearance since Disney's Fantasia.
