Open Rehearsals for Students

Experience The Philadelphia Orchestra like never before!

YourPhilOrch Open Rehearsals for Students

For Middle and High School Students

Don’t miss the opportunity to go behind the scenes and watch The Philadelphia Orchestra at work in rehearsal, where students have the opportunity to observe first-hand the artistic collaboration between world-class musicians and conductors. Open Rehearsals begin promptly and include a 20-minute break. If necessary, groups may leave during this intermission, which occurs approximately one hour into the rehearsal.

We encourage college students to check out eZseatU memberships, which offer the opportunity to see UNLIMITED Philadelphia Orchestra concerts all season for only $25!

Open Rehearsals for Students are supported by the Annenberg Foundation.

Open Rehearsal Policies

School groups will be limited to reservations at only one Open Rehearsal per season. Any requests for reservations at additional rehearsals should be communicated to school_concerts@philorch.org and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If your group cannot make its scheduled rehearsal, please contact the Orchestra at school_concerts@philorch.org as soon as possible, so that your seats can be released to groups on the waiting list. Failure to notify the Orchestra of your cancellation prior to the Open Rehearsal may jeopardize your schools’ ability to attend open rehearsals in the following season.
