Presenting: the brass family! Philadelphia Orchestra musician Matt Vaughn will guide the audience through this regal instrument family.
Our second weekend in Saratoga saw the Orchestra connect with fans, familiar friends, and fantastic music. Associate Principal Trumpet Jeffrey Curnow connected with fans of all ages on Family Night on Friday. As to familiar friends, Gianandrea Noseda and Sarah Chang joined us on Friday, and Noseda was at the helm again on Saturday with guest pianist Jonathan Biss. The fantastic music? A tremendous two days of programming was capped with the “The Rite of Spring.”
